Be an inspiration.

I wish I could be an inspiration to someone one day. Not that I wanna be a famous person or win a Noble prize .. I just wanna create something to inspire people who are especially suicidal.

Reading and watching news about suicidal cases on the phone and tv are starting to make me feel that this world is getting sick. People need to change their mindset.

I'm pretty sure most of the people will reach the moment where they feel like they have nobody else but themselves. They tend to feel like they have lost everything. They feel lonely and unwanted. Hence, death is all they could think of to end everything. Some of them even think that this is the way to make people whom they once loved (or loved them) to be remorseful. These - are the wrong mindsets.

One day, I wish I could create a website or a platform which would be an inspiration to those who need a party to talk to, or even just a listener. I know, it's hard to talk to someone we know when we're so depressed and sometimes ashamed about what we have done. So, I wish there is something where there are inspiring words and people who are willing to communicate with them. They can be anonymous completely and this way they need not to hold back everything they wanna share about.

I wanna make them realize that there is a place, a bunch of people where they can still call home and friends. And they must know that death is not the answer to all the problems in their life. There must be an alternative way to make things better. I wish ... I could make that happen one day.

Suicide doesn't end the pain. It just passes it on to someone else.

Long distance makes us closer instead

We are 667.07 miles (1073.55 km) apart. It doesn't seem really far away since the states we stay in are still located in the same country. But then, we could only meet each other for only twice or thrice a year. So near yet so far.

It was hard at first ......

Most people believe that all long distance relationships are doomed to fail and there are many cases where couples couldn't make it through the long distance and broke up eventually. They probably couldn't get used to not meeting each other for too long. Overly-attached people most probably cannot survive through long-distance-relationship (I mean most and not all) because they need to see their other half almost every day and constantly get updated by their whereabouts. When they are apart from each other for too long, they will tend to overthink and get anxious about everything. This will always start a fight and worsen the relationship.

For me, I think that distance is just a test to see how far love can travel. I know this is difficult, but I will keep trying. It will work because this distance is nothing compared to our love. We have been together for almost 18 months now and our relationship has been long-distanced ever since it started. I feel that when two people love each other, no time is too long, no distance is too far, and no one can ever tear them apart. This is a good opportunity to learn how to appreciate and trust each other. It's true that trust and loyalty are the most important ingredients to make a successful potion of long-distance-relationship. Distance doesn't ruin relationships, doubts do. We need to believe them instead of keep doubting them because it will only make you and your partner unhappy all the time. It is not a healthy relationship if you don't feel happy when you're together.

Long-distance-relationship is a challenge but it can also be fun at times. Both of you can give surprises occasionally and it makes you look forward to meeting each other every single time after being separated. The longer you have to wait for something, the more you'll appreciate it when it arrives. Yes, the distance can be hard, but when you finally meet it's all worth it. I remember there was once when we finally skyped after a few months not seeing each other. Just when our faces appeared on the screen, we stared at each other and smiled, without saying a word. That lasted for a few seconds. I can still remember that kind of feeling ... it's indescribable. The best feeling you'll ever have in a long distance relationship, is the feeling of finally being able to see each other.

Distance in relationships can cause you to miss someone that it helps you to realize how much that person means to you. I'm truly thankful that we're apart now because I know that this is a challenge for us and if we can get through this, our relationship will be strong. I'm pretty confident that we can last long if we never give up on each other no matter what happens to us.

Distance means so little when someone means so much to you.

We have fights too, quite regularly. Sometimes when you love someone you will get tired of them, too many fights, misunderstandings, argument, forgiveness and sorry. But when the time comes you will realize that all of the sacrifices and tiredness will make your relationship stronger. I believe that this long distance has somehow made us closer instead. If things were different, we might be arguing every day and our relationship might not last long.

If someone truly loves you, distance is not a problem. It's just the power of making love grow every day. True love doesn't mean inseparable, it means being separated and nothing changes. A long distance relationship isn't hard at all. It's just a matter of trust, commitment and holding on.

I hope that one day we won't have to put up with bad internet connections, expensive phone calls and rare visits anymore. One day, we will close the distance. I can't wait till we're living together. I can wake up by your side. We can cook dinner together and cuddle on the couch while watching movies. We can share the housework. We could spend the day in our bed if we wanted to. We can prepare our own breakfast. It will be just us and it will be perfect.

We won't be separated forever. So until then, let's stay strong together! ❤

You will be missed, grandma.

I actually wanted to blog about another topic - my job, but somehow, I think that this is the one I prefer to post right now ... yea, my grandma passed away about 3 months ago - 28 April 2014 - 8 days after my birthday.

She had been admitted to the hospital 1 month before she left the world. Within that 1 month, we had been going to the hospital almost every day because we're really worried about her condition. Sometimes, she's stable but sometimes she's not. Grandma was 95 years old already. Doctors had been telling us that her condition was bad. All we could do was pray, pray and pray. We really hoped for a miracle as we really don't wanna lose her.

In the final week, grandma was transferred from the normal ward to ICU. This time, we knew it would be a hard time. I can still remember the first day I went to visit her in ICU. She was unconscious ... after getting the Anesthesia injection. She looked suffered as she was breathing hardly. There were hoses everywhere connected to her body. And, she needed the life support machine to keep her breathing normally. Looking at her, quietly, all I could hear was the 'beeping' sound of the machines. Flashbacks started appearing in my head. Her smile. Her eyes. Her smooth skin ... tears started rolling down my cheeks. I tried to resist touching her hands and face, because every single time my skin reaches hers, I couldn't help getting teary eyes.

And ... that night arrived. Dad received a call from aunt who was staying at the hospital, that grandma's condition was critical. I still remember it was 3am. Dad rushed there. And about half an hour later, dad called mom. We knew what that call was for. Doctor said that grandma might not be able to make it. Without changing our pj's, mom, sis and I rushed to the hospital. On our way there, we kept praying that there would be a miracle. "Stay strong, grandma." I kept repeating that while driving on the empty streets.

We reached there in about 10 minutes. Doctor was doing CPR to grandma already. Condition wasn't good at all. We waited in another room. Everybody was quiet but yet, we still had hope that grandma was able to make it. After 5 minutes of doing the last rescue, nurses came to us and told us the bad news.

I guess you know what happened next. Grandma looked so pale. But this time, she didn't look suffered. She left peacefully I could tell. It was heartbreaking to see and hear my aunts crying ... but we all kinda accepted it anyway 'cause grandma was old-aged already. I touched my grandma for the one last time. Her skin was icy cold.

Grandma is currently at where she belongs to. She left us but she will never leave our hearts and our memories. I love you, grandma. I never said this to her. She's one irreplaceable grandma. She never raised her voice at anyone. In fact, I never saw her scolding any one of us. She always kept the graceful smile on her face. Even when my friends came to my grandma's place, they always told me that, "your grandma is so cute. she keeps smiling." I must say, she's the sweetest and the cutest grandma in the world.

Rest in peace, grandma. I will never ever forget you, ah ma.

Eighteen.

Hello! I'm finally updating my blog about my birthday, after a week. LOL Yea, for those who didnt know, my 18th birthday was on the 20th of April. Yeahhh, I AM NOW EIGHTEEN YEARS OLD. wooohoooo.

All I can say is it was awesomeeee max. I felt blessed and loved. :)

They were planning to give me a surprise and it was a success, 'cause I really did not expect that, not even a tiny bit of it. I seriously thought they're gonna bring me to a restaurant as what ginnie has told me. lol. I fell for it. As seen in the photo above, I was blind-folded once I got into ginnie's car. I was so nervous, wondering what was gonna happen next. Later on, ginnie's mom dropped us at a place which I didn't know where it is at first. I held ginnie's hand and kept asking her where we are actually heading to.

"Nie, where is this place?"

"This is a very very grand restaurant... see, we are such good friends right. They have a fountain..."

(sound of basketball hitting the ground)

"And a basketball court as well?! HUH??"

"HAHAHA yala this restaurant is really huge and grand!!"

"I'M SO GONNA HIT YOU LATER, GINNIE GAN!"

XD

And we walked for a really long distance (it was undeniably long to me as I was blind-folded and I had to watch every step I took just to ensure my "safety". haha) until she asked me to let go of her hand. I didnt wanna do so, thinking that something not good might happen if I did. So I GRABBED her hand very tightly. Finally, I took that blind-folding thing off and OMGGG I saw a group of people standing right in front of me! I was like omg seriously?! I couldn't believe that they brought me to brem park and invited so many of them to celebrate my birthday! awwww.

I was SURPRISED, indeed. Totally didn't expect that, like I said. And my birthday cake was a cheese cake again! from secret recipe again! haha but this time, it's raspberry flavoured. I made a wish and blew off those 9 candles. My hands were shaking when I was cutting the cake. omg so unexpected.

I knew this would come. When wencai told me that she's leaving and asked me to accompany her to the guard house, I sensed something. Few moments later, karyee and regina approached us. Ohno, not good. haha I was like, "nahh, you wanna push me into the pool is it? Not gonna happen." But anyhow, at last, I still ended up being in the pool and getting my whole body wet. But I wasn't alone, karyee and vivian got into the pool too. Vivian was so funny, she insisted to get into it by HERSELF. hahaha And btw, karyee was pushed by wenjie into the pool and I clapped my hands. XD

However, later on, THAT problem arose again! yes, the security's problem. wth. He told us that the residents complaint about us and we gotta leave that place as we didn't pay for the fees of booking that pool side area. ahhh everyone's mood was gone.

Plan B - Pitstop. We ordered drinks and started playing the games they supplied there. Vivian and wencai didn't join us though. We played board games, stack-up game (? dont know what that game is called) etc. We even played angry birds game as well. LMAO. It was a great chilling time. Although there are some problems, it still turned out to be an enjoyable day. I LOVE IT AND I TRULY APPRECIATE IT.

Thanks for the planning my bffs! You girls succeeded cause I was really surprised. :D Thanks for the dress code - pink! haha. Thanks for the sweet girls and guys who showed up. Shout out to KarYee, Ginnie, Vivian, WenCai, BiQing, Chris, KaiXin, Regina, XiangTing, SinLing, WeyWenn, JiaQian, WenJie, ZhaoXuan, Clement, ChanPheng, Eric, WingMing, ChangChong and ZheHui! It was a great day. A great pinky day. A day I will definitely always remember! I'm so grateful. Thanks for letting me know that I'm not a poor little lonely girl. THANK YOU ALL! And all those wishes, texts, calls and tweets. Thanksssss may god bless you all, my friends :D

Sunway Lagoon here we come!

Hey yo, I'm in a pretty good mood today. So ... I feel like updating my blog. I wanna post about the day at Sunway Lagoon with my loved ones. ♥ Alright let me recall what had happened that day ...

In the morning, my dad fetched ginnie and biqing and after that, of course we headed to Sunway Lagoon! After waiting for karyee's arrival, we went to one of the entrances. We saw a bunch of Korean aunties and uncles heading in the same direction. "Aiya, how good if they were youngsters!" hahahaha

The day started off well! We had a lot of fun playing in the water, walking around looking for our desire game spots and ... screaming!! woooohoooo. Especially the Niagara Falls Flume Ride, we had even played it for 3 times! crazily fun and exciting!! After the first ride, when we were walking down the stairs, we saw 4 Koreans YOUNGSTERS who were riding on the boat. 2 couples. We said hi to them and they waved back. Then, ginnie said, "Annyeonghaseyo!" They were like so surprised and happy that they greeted us back! WOW! Koreans are so nice and friendly. :) There were a lot of foreigners .. more than Malaysians, I reckon.

Besides, we even rented a float and we rode it in the "river" which we called it as "longkang". HAHA. We took turns riding for two rounds and that was fun! We even helped a foreign couple to push their float. haha They were like stuck in the middle of the river as there's no one to push the float for them. so funny! hahaha. karyee danced when they played the song "OMG"! siasui dao. XD

This day was awesome. I enjoyed myself a lot with the 3 of them! urgh I really don't know how to describe everything in words. That feeling was beyond words can tell, you know. But anyway, it was exciting and yet amazing. Never knew I would have so much fun with my friends at Sunway Lagoon! I love these girls :D

After taking a bath, the next stop was Sunway Pyramid. We had our lunch there and spent some time playing with the basketball machine and other games. We also took a lot of pictures while waiting for ginnie's mom to arrive at 6pm. :) We headed to the next stop, then.

And then, we're at Parkson OUG Plaza. We planned to have dinner with vivian chong! weeee! it's been so long since I last met her. So happy to see her again! As usual, 5 of us crapped a lot. ahaha It's all about our own lives ... new lives perhaps? lol karyee, ginnie and biqing have started their college life while vivian and I are currently working. We are all heading to different paths of our life now. I hope that we will still keep in touch in the future!

Finally, I got home at around 9.30pm.

Wanna talk about something else. I was sick since one week ago. Sore throat and cough came to me first. But then, it's getting worse when flu, fever and headache visited me at once. That was suffering. No doubt. I couldn't stop coughing especially during the night time. It was so bad that I thought I was going to cough my lungs out literally. I thought soon I would be coughing blood. nahh of course it didn't happen. I had tried many many kinds of medication and I'm in a recovering mode now. Thank god and thanks for all the concerns. ^_^

Back to the topic ... I hope to spend more and more days like this with my friends ... with the same bunch of people. I miss you all - poon kar yee, ginnie gan, vivian chong mun yee, teng bi qing, ng wen cai, chris chia joe-yi, wong kai xin and all the 5A12-ers! ♥

Loved - beyond words can tell.

那些年 Those years ...

So ... THIS IS IT - the end of my high school life. Sounds really saddening, doesnt it? *sigh*

There was a SIMPLE graduation ceremony for all the Form 5's on 11 November. Almost every Form 5 student was present, I suppose. That day was definitely one of the most important days in our high school life. Despite the simple ceremony, it was a day to be remembered. At least, I will.

So, well, we took a lot of photos. Indeed. We also shook hands and hugged the teachers. Seeing tears falling from some of the teachers' eyes, I couldn't hold mine any longer. At that moment, I realized how much they had sacrificed for us, how much effort they had been putting on us and how much time they had spent on guiding us. All I said to them was 'THANK YOU'. I swear I said it sincerely from the very bottom of my heart. No any other words could show my gratitude better.

Later then, it was time for us to snap photos! We took pictures with as many people as we could get. Until ... the school bell rang.

5 years of studying in this school, it was like my second home. I have met a lot of sweet and lovely people and I count them as my friends. A few of them are even like SISTERS to me. :') I feel extremely grateful to have met them in my high school life. Whenever I have the thought that we will never spend time like this, fooling around and laughing crazily with this bunch of people anymore, tears cannot help but roll in my eyes. Of course, it is a fact that we are leaving high school. But then, I know, we will never leave the memories behind. Those graceful smiles, beautiful faces and unforgettable words will always be in our mind and our heart. :)

I know I sound serious and emotional. I also know there are chances for us to meet up again in the future. But trust me, things will never ever be the same anymore. So, for those who are still in high school, please appreciate it or else, you will be regretful after you graduate.

Those years ... I studied so hard just to excel my school exams, PMR and SPM. Now, everything comes to a full-stop. Not my life, but the high school life. I used to be a quiet girl who didn't talk much with the people around me. But for now, I don't think you're gonna say I'm still the same unless you don't know me well enough. I used to talk really really softly (now still do). I bet all of the people who had talked to me did mention 'HUH?’ at least once. HAHA #factaboutme

I'm quite blurry about my Form 1 life, though. All I could remember is that I studied in 1A12 and I was a junior prefect. Ohya, my partner was Daniel and my senior was Avelyn. :) Hmm ... and my classmates ... most of them were not in 5A12. And we did have a water party! That was a memorable one. Seriously, I enjoyed myself a lot during my Form 1 life.

This year, I'm already 17. 5A12'2011 is the class I love the most. Everyone in this class is amazing. We did many performances and spent a lot of time having fun with each other. Despite the stress due to SPM, we enjoyed ourselves during teachers' lecture most of the time. The guys in our class are humorous. They added a lot of joy to the class, making the class less boring. I will always remember the memories we had together and the names of all my classmates. :')

Those years ... there were many life-changing incidents bumped into my life. They had changed me thoroughly such as my personality, my perspective of judging people and my way of interacting with others. I joined many school activities which provided me a lot of valuable experiences. For example, cheerleading, marching and taking part in marathons. Let me make a conclusion for everything - I LOVE MY HIGH SCHOOL LIFE AND I HAVE NO REGRETS! I am gonna miss it in the future for hundred-percent sure. *sob*

***

To my best friends (jimui aka Single Ladies): I wish for an eternal friendship! We must organize gatherings and group trips often. Love you guys!! ♥

To all the people I know in high school: Have a successful life ahead and hopefully we will be destined to meet each other again in the future! You guys are awesomeeeeee.

Adios! With much much of loves. x

Who run the world? Girls.

Haha. This photo was taken randomly actually. It was few hours before the Civics' exam. As you know, there's nothing much to study about civics. Moreover, all the questions were just objectives. Most of my classmates were chit-chatting in the class. Teacher didnt actually care either. So, we started to take many pictures. We took pictures with the funniest and weirdest expressions we could make! That was damn fun! I couldnt believe that these girls were such crazy (including myself). XD And suddenly, someone came up with an idea to take cool pictures. Then, we started to plan our positions in the pic, who should look at the camera and who shouldnt, etc. After everything was done, we set the camera on 10-seconds timer. We posed for 10 seconds and *snap*, we burst into laughter. hahaha.

I LOVE THESE GIRLS! ♥

My life would be barren without these awesome ladies. :D

Perfect ending.

WE ARE OFFICIALLY RETIRED!

After contributing for 5 years, our prefect-life has finally come to an end. We're free from all the duties! However, on the other hand, we might not be able to spend time together like how we did in the past. No more meetings. No more having breakfast in the canteen together. :( We are like a big family ... and I'm proud and glad to be one of the members. Everyone in the prefectorial board is so nice! It's a great pleasure to meet such awesome people like them in my life. I hope we can still keep in touch. :')

The annual reception was a blast! It was held in the Gardens Hotel. Undeniably, I always have fun whenever my ji mui are around. :D Everyone was so stunning and we took a lot a lot of pictures. Of course, we enjoyed ourselves very much. The form 4's did a great job in organizing the event. It was well-planned. :)

Retiring from being a prefect also indicates that we're gonna leave the school SO SOON. :( I really wish that that day would never come. But yeah, impossible. *sigh* I swear, I will miss all these people like seriously! And also other form 5's ... I'm gonna keep the words until the day we graduate. No matter what, just CHERISH THE MOMENT WE HAVE RIGHT NOW, EVERY DAY AND EVERY SECOND ♥

And by the way ...

POONKARYEE, I ♥ THIS! Thank youuuuu! :D

I'm officially 17!

I had a great birthday this year! Despite the surprise on last Saturday, today is also a day full of surprises! This is a dream-come-true as all I wanted for this year birthday is SURPRISE! I'm so thankful for everything. Every single thing, seriously. :D

At 12am. Actually I had already slept. But somehow, I managed to be awake at 1150pm. Lol! Vivian was the first one to call me, Ginnie was next and then KarYee. Thanks for all the messages! There's one of them I love the most. Try guessing? haha!

Okay ... Time for school! The first who wished me was jiansheng. I met him and regina at the staircase. So, regina was the next one. LOL I was in a very good mood in the morning. Felt like something was awaiting to happen. haha thought too much!

The first surprise was given by karyee. In the morning, she told me that she couldnt finish the card on time and she might be giving it to me on the next day. I was like, "Ohh. It's okay. :) Take your time!" But then ... aiya, I was so emotional la! Lol

♥ ♥ ♥

Eventually, she gave two cards and a piece of cake to me in front of my class! Thank you, KARYEE ! The cards are nice and I know you did a lot of hard work. Loveeeee! And, thanks 5A12-ers for the birthday song! You guys made it look so grand by standing up while singing the song. Awww! Ohya .. a big thanks to the BIRO RAMBUT MEMBERS for singing me the birthday song TWICE! That's so sweet of y'all. haha Next, thanks, BIQING YENTHENG WENJIE VINCENT for the birthday gifts! I appreciate all of them. :) I thought that's all the gifts I was gonna receive. BUT, after school, when I got home, there's another (the second) surprise!! Thank you, MUNWEI ! No doubt, I love your gifts. ;) (And I love the way you call me 'Imn Imn' :D) After that, went to kasturi for tuition. Thanks LIJIEN MAYYAN SIOBITA ANUSSHA KLAUDIA BALA for wishing me a happy birthday! :) :) Later on, I received another present. It's from JONATHAN! Thank you so much for the JustinBieber's First Step 2 Forever : My Story book!! Next, thank you GINNIE for the JB's scrapebook. I literally screamed when I saw it! Thank you, VIVIAN for accompanying me to the JB's concert! I did make a right choice! haha Thank you KOKJUN for that special dedication picture on facebook!! Last but not least, I want to thank my PARENTS for the concert ticket!! :D Thanks for every single wish and greeting! I appreciate every one of them!!! Most of the wishes are asking me to stay happy and smile always. Alright .. I promise, I'll keep that big smile on my face. Always. ^^ Anyway, the ecstasy was beyond words can tell ♥ I feel blissful!

Arigato!

Don't doubt it. They're mentioning me. haha

16th of April, Saturday. Planned to go for an outing with my jimui. I reached there at 1130 as karyee said she was alone. Went to F.O.S. with her and bought two singlets. One was purple and another one was pink. Bought the purple one for JB's concert and bought another one because it'd be much cheaper. XD Later on, met up with ginnie and had our lunch at Zen. We ordered 3 drinks and I shared a chocolate brownies with Ginnie. I'm really obsessed with chocolate lately. Lol And then, vivian joined us. Took a lot of pictures there. I guess even the uncle at the next table couldn't withstand us, the camwhore freaks! haha Next, MOVIE TIME! I love 'Never Say Never' so much! Take a chance to watch it and you'll know why I'm so crazy about him. ;) I know you're gonna think I was insane or I was totally out of my mind. But seriously, I did cry. The part when he tweeted his fans about his health condition. Awwww :'( Wait. Vivian did cry too. Nahh, I was not the only one!

Alright .. back to reality!

Before the movie ended, karyee and vivian left first. Karyee said she wanted to buy a cake for her sister. (now I know why she said so. Lol) Then, after the movie, I left the cinema with ginnie. I was so puzzled 'cause she was like leading me hanging around as if she's trying to waste time. (now I know why as well) She even brought me to Toys 'R Us just to take some pictures. Now when I recall it back, that's funny. haha

Finally, she brought me to Secret Recipe. Goshh, I could see kokjun when I was at the escalator! I looked at ginnie and spoke in English, somehow. "Damn. What're you guys doing?!" She just looked at me without answering. Lol I rushed over there and ... I stopped. Trying to escape but ginnie pulled me back. It's all because I saw him, munwei. haha OMG I was pleasantly surprised! Of course, I saw brian and vincent as well. :)

Nice one. Thanks, kokjun. ;)

Thanks for coming, guys! Thanks for attending when you're still sick! And thanks my jimui for planning this! That oreo cheesecake ... Niceee! :D (thanks karyee! I said I want an oreo cake and you really got me one!!)

THANK YOU for everything ♥

And lastly ...

I love this picture! Thank you, brian. ;)
